A few more things about Tuesday night’s season opener to note:
The ring ceremony is scheduled to begin at 7:38 p.m. The game is set to tipoff at 8:02 p.m.
Former Celtics John Havlicek, Jo Jo White, Tommy Heinsohn and M.L. Carr are slated be in the house.
“I’m going to soak it all in, enjoy it,” captain Paul Pierce said at practice today. “But at the same time I understand I’ve got a game to play.”
