Could you please look into a threat at Walker Middle School in West Salem? I kept my son home today because of a VERY vague statement from the Statesman Journal about a threat TODAY! I called the school and they said they have extra extra security and have swept the school etc. Please get more information if possible! Thank you, Tasha

    Hi,
I am not sure if the article I am looking for was from the Eagle Tribune or not. I have been told by many people that there is an article regarding the alleged confiscation of a Dr. Sheridan Dodge's computer from his classroom at Timberlane Regional Middle School for alleged pornography viewing on school property.

I think it was in a paper sometime last Spring and want to know the contents because my daughter is a student in his classroom and it thoroughly concerns me why he is still allowed to be teaching if the above is correct information.

Has anyone else heard the same or have the same concerns?

I have been trying all morning to find a calendar posting of a show in Beverly of the Vagina Monogolues to benefit violence against women on February 13, 2009 and I cannot for the life of me find it and think that you should have an easier way to find previous entertainment postings. Could someone find it and email the information to me including the phone number of who to call for information on ticket purchases. Thank you

I was surprised and happy to read about the Flash Medical Drive in this morning's paper. I have one and am so grateful that I do. It offers all that Mr Croteau claims and more. I expect this product to be a must-have soon.

    Where are the movies????
  • If you are looking for movie times there should a be a link at the bottom of each site called "Movies" which will bring you to fandango.com to check movie times.

If you are looking for the videos that we produce then you can click on "Multimedia" in the menubar. Then view the recent videos on that page or click on "Video Archive" to see a history of all our videos.

How do I read yesterday's paper?? There is no option to plug in another date to read that date's paper.?? There should be a box on the top of the site that asks the date. I am just looking to read an article from yesterday but the sit is very UN user friendly. There is no option, just a search option which does not bring up the article...
  • Sorry you were not able to find what you were looking for. All content is available through search or google. If something is within the last week, you should be able to find it by going to the appropriate section. There you will see articles broken down by date, and hopefully you could find the article you are looking for. We are continually trying to improve the sites so thank you for your feedback we will keep it in mind for future updates.

    Hi!
I'd like to find the article in the Eagle Tribune from April 10, 2009. It was on the front page and called "A Real Fish Story". About a class putting salmon smolts back into the Merrimack River. Thank you!

I can't get back on Disqus.
    I forgot my password.
I applied for a new one & they are asking me to type in the old one first.
If I could remember the old one I would not be asking for a new one ! Duuuh !
  • You should be able to go to this link http://disqus.com/forgot/, enter your email address. You should then get an email with a link in it to reset your password. When you click on the link, you simply enter a new password and then confirm the new password, and you will then be able to login with that new password.

hello,i need the news of 18 jul 2009,
    thanks you
    july
  • You should be able to read previous stories under any section. There should be a header with the date showing you when those stories were posted on the site. Sometimes the dates may appear out of order, which might be what was happening. Typically you can see back 4 or 5 days, beyond that you will need to do a search for the article you were looking for.

Hello -- How do I get a copy of one of your photos? In the Smokin' Guns slide show, picture #33 is one of our youngest shooters and it is a classic! I would like to get a copy to send to his folks in New York. Please advise. Thank you!
  • Most of our photos that appear in the paper and online are available
for purchase on our photos site. Simply click on the Photos link in
the menubar on the homepage and then search for the photo by entering
some keywords from the caption or by finding the picture by date range.
  • Can I have the link please? I couldn't find it.

As a dedicated reader of the TRIB I access it by internet when I am out of state a good part of the year. I keep up with the OBIts but have not always seen LOCAL BIRTHS . and think it should be on NET whenever it is in paper. Thank you
  • We are looking into adding births in the future.

Is there any online way to access Eagle-Trib issues from way back? I'm trying to find something from...late 1984? It was a high-school editorial essay contest on "What America needs most".
If there's no way to access it online, what's the process for requesting to have someone climb down into the dungeon and flip through the microfiche?
Appreciate any help you can give!
  • Unfortunately our online archives do not go back that far. Archives
are available on microfiche at the local library like Memorial Hall
    Library in downtown Andover.
  • Skoog
Ha! That's what I suspected. Probably not available at my local library in Minnesota. Drag. Thanks anyway!

I am visiting Mass friends at the Villages in Fl for the Holiday and today's paper ran an article about the 2010 Essex St Calendar. Try as I may to stop I have become my grandmother and go back to the "good old days". If you could send me 3 (2 for grandchldren) who wll never know the "good old days". Please include an invoice I would be more that grateful for this. If you could send it Thanksgiving week so that it will arrive when I return to Cldearwater. Thank you so much
  • The Eagle-Tribune is not selling these calendars but you can order one from the Library by calling 978-620-3600.

They're $12 each. Or they can be bought at the Lawrence Public Library if you know someone up here to pick some up for you.
