This funeral has brought Haverhill to a standstill. Bradford Common was closed to vehicles this morning and state troopers and police officers were bused from North Andover to Bradford Square, where they walked to the school just before ceremonies began.

State Police are pouring into Haverhill this morning as preparations for State Police Capt. Richard Cashin’s funeral are under way. The street is quickly filling up with blue uniforms. There are police here from Rhode Island, New York and Vermont.
