Noah R. Bombard is the new media editor for The Eagle-Tribune. Working from The Eagle-Tribune newsroom in North Andover he blogs about news in the Trib’s coverage area and keeps his readers abreast of what’s happening in the newsroom.

The former editor in chief of Worcester Magazine and a managing editor at Community Newspaper Company, Bombard has been covering news and issues in Massachusetts since 1997. He was named serious columnist of the year by the New England Newspaper Association in 2003 and has earned industry awards for writing, newspaper design and in 2006 accepted an award for newspaper of the year for the Times & Courier, a weekly covering Clinton and Lancaster, Mass.

    You’ll find a combination of items on this blog. Part of what I’ll do is simply drawing attention to and expounding on some of the hot-topic stories coming out of The Eagle-Tribune newsroom. But I’m also a journalist at heart so expect to see some original reporting as well. If you’ve got news or story tips — or just a “hey, you should check out [fill in the blank],” send ‘em my way.
