A police helicopter, search dogs and troopers with shotguns were used in Lawrence yesterday in the search for suspects involved in the shooting of a 16-year-old boy. Although the victim says he doesn’t know why he was shot police say the incident does not appear to be random.

Also, we take a look at a Sunday Eagle-Tribune story coming up that looks at efforts in New Hampshire to ban hand-held cell phone use while driving. Some say the law is needed others say the state just needs to enforce distracted driving laws. Will Mass. pass this, too?

Nationwide, the issue is distracted driving, kindly put. Prohibit it.

We also have problems in St Petersburg with guns. It starts with our legislature, and is perpetuated by voters. Gun Control isn’t perfect, but it’s a better start than Charlton Heston.

Lawrence residents need to take back their city now!!! for so long we have let gangs.. drug dealers.. andother criminals walk the streets and defile our city…whatn kind of a Lawrence do we need and want? do we want our kids to be raised in a ghetto of crime?
do you want your kids get shot by a drivebye? we need to do something fast…federal spending has taken money from our ciy because they dont give a rats azz about us…we need martial law here or have the city taken over by the state…we need to deport these criminals to prison for a long time… they want to be bad boys and bad girls then let them be bad in prison… see what happens to them then…..i urge every citizen no matter what nationality you are to stand up for yourselves.. your families and for the city you call your home……

unfortunatly there are not enough people willing to try to take it back. Everyone is affraid of what may happen to them and their loved ones and or property if they try to make a stand. We are out numbered.
