With the pounding International High School Principal Terika Smith is taking from the Teachers Union (see related stories below) one group has stepped up in support: Fellow city principals.
The city’s principals signed and released a letter today (full letter and 26 signatures below) condemning a vote of no confidence in Smith taken by the Union this week as well as criticizing comments made by Union President Frank McLaughlin. With all the cannonballs being lobbed at Smith and Superintendent Wilfredo Laboy’s office lately, the principals throw out a few accusations of their own, questioning statements made by McLaughlin.
