Talk about a close call. One can only imagine the mother of this toddler is still shaking a day after a car crashed into the bakery where she was shopping and into her son. Amazingly, no one was seriously injured (the toddler received a couple of scratches and bruises, we’re told) and the bakery is still open.

The Eagle-Tribune will be filing a story shortly, but this security camera video says all:

UPDATE: Story on crash

Here’s a photo of the front of the story provided by fellow blogger Joyce Godsey:

Piro's is boarded up, but still open, following a car crash into the front of the store.

that place needs a guardrail – certainly not Piro's fault…building owner and driver. I sure hope no one sues piros. it occurred to me that this kind of thing could just about kill a small business, thesedays. yeah his liability insurance would cover the payout but then cancel on him and then he's done for. Hope they stick it out. stopped buy and bought something JUST because they need the business.
