The municpality is doing a great thing by bringing this to the table. I don’t know how much pot costs but it is considered a recreational drug so if a municipality sees this as an avenue of generating revenue and the people say yes then the majority has their say.

i can't imagine this is going to generate much revenue. We don't have hordes of people hanging around our parks getting stoned before the rule change, I can't see them flocking to methuen's run down parks and playgrounds just because it's now a misdemeanor. Any group of more than a few people is going to get the stinkeye from the police. Pot or no pot. I swear you people have fantasies about the hordes of marijuana addicts littering the streets. Generally people do it in the comfort of their own homes – near the fridge.

the people who are going to pay are the few parents whose kids get stopped and frisked and found carrying. That's who this new rule will hurt.

And please never ask for video coverage of your arrest or video coverage of the police stations’ practices; because it never will be available. Do not even ask for video coverage of the calibration of police station equipment that we use to confirm and carry out convictions of YOU, even if you try to fight our officer’s opinion of you. Thank you America for being stupid, and thank you for giving up your Civil Liberties. You have made communist USSA a much easier place for us to control YOU. It gives me a warm feeling; I feel like I am home in old NAZI Germany. Thank you once Again! (And remember, our cops will convict you of DWI or DUI no matter what, nothing can stop them; once again that is why there will be no video coverage of your arrest in our free NH state – we trust our cops who have took a sworn oath over your citizenship and constitutional rights – our cops are robotic examples of how we want you to be in our state; be like them – they are perfect, just ask them) We offer bonus reward points if you can find a cop in NH breaking any laws; and unlike them – record it and send it to your state representatives for reward points satisfaction.
