Story will be up in a few minutes. We’ve confirmed that police pulled over a man suspected to be involved in a armored car robbery late this morning in which shots were fired. No reports of injuries.

Not a chase, but some activity

It appears the activity out of Haverhill a little bit ago may not be an actual chase, however, a car with Florida plates was stopped a few hundred feet over the line in Plaistow with several police vehicles surrounding it. We’ll tell you more as soon as we know.

Police chase in progress

Word just coming into the Eagle-Tribune newsroom of a police chase in progress out of Haverhill. Details are sketchy and unconfirmed at the moment, but it appears the chase began somewhere near Lover’s Lane in Haverhill and there was buzz on the police scanner about the possibility of a gun. Rep. Linda Campbell recently sent a letter to the governor with some information about the December ice storm to help Methuen in acquiring FEMA support.
