Capt. Richard Cashin
The funeral for Massachusetts State Police Trooper Capt. Richard Cashin is set for Monday morning at 11 a.m. and attendance is expected to be huge. The Eagle-Tribune will be on hand Monday at The Sacred Hearts Church in Haverhill. We’ll be posting photos and blogging from the location starting around 9 a.m. We also plan to offer a live video feed of the funeral procession.
Cashin, a Boxford native, was killed early Wednesday morning when his unmarked car struck a utility pole on Route 1 in Saugus. Cashin was reportedly responding to a call about an eratic driver.
