well it's a little late now. We moved 900 miles away in 2006 because the prices are just too high. Beverly will always be my home but unfortunately lots of families are leaving because they are tired of apartment living. We did it for ten years! Our mortgage costs LESS than our apartment did and we have a 4 bedroom 2 bathroom house on a small farm with 3 acres, a pond, and orchard in the mountains. It is beautiful, and cost just over 100K! My husband is now making more here as an electrician than he was back on the North Shore. Relocation isn't easy but I would recommend it to anyone who is tired of the way overpriced apartments, condos and homes!

Why do we have to spend all kinds of money when we have a perfectly wonderful stadium? Beverly can not afford 83 mil not to mention what it will cost to heat, clean and maintain.
Somebody needs to get a grip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

jh - You are correct. Monet's Garden, sadly, closed their doors a couple of weeks ago.

Good to hear about Omelette HQ, and also Bob Nelson's info re GoodFella's - Rantoul Street will be making great strides when the State project to redo the road is completed in a couple of years...

My husband and I have eaten here 3 times now. The burgers are awesome. We recommend the "Texas Hold Em" burger and the "Flight of Minis". OH and the sweet potato fries are amazing - make sure to get the cinnamon sugar dip with them. The owners were there each time we were there and they are extremely friendly. The green stuff is very cool too. The owner explained to us how the plastic cups we were drinking out of go to a local farm to be buried and become dirt in 6 weeks. Pretty amazing. If only the bottled water companies could do something similar.

Well I just went there and it was great! I got a nice sausage and cheese omelette and coffee for just over 7 bucks. Good
coffee and friendly service. btw I drove by GoodFellas on the way and they have a sign up saying they'll be back in a few
weeks (most likely new ownership/management) and it'll
be called The Sub-Marino Cafe.

Tried this place over the weekend - not good at all; the burgers were disgusting, barely cooked at all, and the staff was extremely unfriendly.
