The return of Omelette Headquarters
Sep 19th, 2008 by Paul Leighton
Say hello to George Nikolouzos, who opened Omelette Headquarters on Rantoul Street (across from The Pickled Onion) on Monday. And yes, it’s the same Omelette Headquarters that was on Cabot Street from 1994 to 2002.
“Same food, same everything,” George said this morning.
The original Omelette Headquarters was run by George’s in-laws, who are still involved in this one. They also ran an Omelette Headquarters in Wakefield until a few years ago.
George, a 38-year-old Peabody resident, said he’s been in the restaurant business all his life.
The restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., and for breakfast only on Sunday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

I’ll have to check this out. Just as well as it looks like
GoodFellas, down the street, is now gone -

Well I just went there and it was great! I got a nice sausage and cheese omelette and coffee for just over 7 bucks. Good
coffee and friendly service. btw I drove by GoodFellas on the way and they have a sign up saying they’ll be back in a few
weeks (most likely new ownership/management) and it’ll
be called The Sub-Marino Cafe. -

What happened to Monet’s Garden? That looks closed now too.

jh - You are correct. Monet’s Garden, sadly, closed their doors a couple of weeks ago.
Good to hear about Omelette HQ, and also Bob Nelson’s info re GoodFella’s - Rantoul Street will be making great strides when the State project to redo the road is completed in a couple of years…

I stopped in yesterday, it was great!!!
It looks like Brothers has closed as well. -

Mmmm. Omelet HQ sounds good. I liked Brothers until the people that worked there accused my wife and 4 year old of stealing French fires that they had just paid for. That rubbed me the wrong way since we would patronize the place about once a month and we were always pleasant.
