Back in January we ran this photo in The Salem News asking readers if they could identify any of the ballplayers on the 1920s-era Beverly baseball team. Beverly native Stephen Rossi of Virginia had sent us the picture, which includes his late grandfather, Neil Murphy, who’s sitting in the the middle of the first row with the catcher’s gear in front of him.
