The Blockbuster store in the North Beverly Plaza has closed. I put in a call to Blockbuster headquarters in Texas this morning to find out why and am still waiting for an answer.

The MBTA will host what it’s calling a “public workshop” next week on its plan to build a parking garage near the train depot. The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 24, at 7 p.m. at the Senior Center. The MBTA says it will answer questions about the project as well as “gauge prospective interest from area property owners.”
