Salem News, BevCam to sponsor override forum

The Salem News and BevCam will sponsor a forum on the Proposition 2 1/2 override on Thursday, May 29, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Senior Center at 90 Colon St.
Panelists will be two representatives apiece from Citizens for Fiscal Responsibility (Vote No) and Yes! for Beverly (Vote Yes). Salem News Editorial Page Editor Nelson Benton and local attorney Scott Houseman will serve as moderators.
The public is invited to attend the forum, which will also be broadcast live on BevCam Channel 10 and shown throughout the weekend leading up to the June 3 election.
The public is also encouraged to e-mail questions in advance to be posed to both sides by the moderators. Questions should be addressed to forum@salemnews.com.
