Opening ceremonies for the renovated McPherson Youth Center have been set for 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The youth center has been closed since late last year for renovations and for cleanup of the below-ground contamination around the building and adjacent Innocenti Park.

City Clerk Fran Macdonald called to remind anyone who is not registered to vote that Wednesday is the last day to register for the June 3 override election. City Hall will be open late, from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., on Wednesday.
Also, a reminder that the final public hearing on the elementary school consolidation plan is tonight at 7 in the high school auditorium. The School Committee is scheduled to vote on the plan on … continued »
