Good times at Golf and Tennis

Maybe it’s the honeymoon phase, but people seem pretty happy about the new management at the city-owned Beverly Golf and Tennis Club. Golfers have been raving about the condition of the course, and new manager Manny Barros (above) says about 40 new members have joined since he took over last month. Membership is now at 170.
Barros says he’s getting great cooperation from the city in terms of upkeep and maintenance. … continued »
